Dev Log - 8/24/25
Hello, Welcome to my very first Dev Log!
The project is an assignment for my Game Design 1 class for Wichita State University. I will be working and updating this game over the course of the semester, which is roughly around 4 months (until December).
When creating the very first level, I wanted to have the player go through an obstacle of a falling platform over a pit of lava, along with having to get past two of the enemies within the level. Afterwards, I wanted for the player to pick up a key to unlock a door, walk through it, and complete the first level! I'll include photos of the very first level down below.



Blueprint Adjustments
The very first thing I changed in regard to the blueprints, was the Door Blueprint. I wanted the door to be able to open outwards, around 90 degress. I wanted the player to be able to walk through the door, rather than the door just outright disappearing after using the key on it. I will include the screenshot of my blueprint for the door down below.

I also made sure to change the track so that the door would open correctly.

THE END 8/24/25
These were all the changes I made to the very first level of my Stealth game, thanks for making it all the way to the end. I am still getting accsustomed to working with the Unreal Engine, so hopefully I am able to learn and expand my skills over the course of this semester!
